Antique Primitive Potato Masher 10.5" Wood Handle Twisted Wire Farmhouse Kitchen

Wonderful antique / early vintage primitive potato masher featuring a beautifully aged wooden handle and old twisted-wire construction. Measures approximately 10 1/2 long. The rectangular mashing head has parallel wire bars with distinctive twisted metal supports leading into the wood handle. Wonderful authentic patina throughout gives this piece tons of old farmhouse character. Unmarked; exact maker and age are unknown. Construction and appearance are consistent with early 20th-century kitchen utensils. Shows considerable age and use, including oxidation/rust, discoloration, surface wear and wear to the wooden handle. I have left the original aged patina intact rather than attempting to restore it. A terrific piece for a primitive kitchen collection, farmhouse display, vintage utensil wall, prop or rustic decor. Please see photos for the best representation of condition. Sold as is.
